Mozzies alive!

Last week, Man from Mars' mum moved up to Sydney for her sparkly new role as Associate Professor at UNSW.

Man from Mars, his mum, her friend and his son all shuffled bum and bicep up to Sydney, first driving a truckful of her belongings and her car to Yass, and then making the remainder of the trip on Monday. There was a lot of pushing, grunting, bad body odour, lifting, internet connecting, tasty Japanese and of course, in amongst all of this, the intense Sydney humidity and ravenous blood thirsty mozzies. What a stellar combination. Such are the joys of moving.

As a new week starts and Man from Mars and I count our mozzie bites (Him: at least 10 Me: 9, including one below my fingernail on my pinkie and one on the underside of my index finger (?!!?)), it's the start of a new Career Era for his mum who hereafter shall be called "Her Associate Professorness" (like "Her Royal Highness" except much more academically inclined, geddit?)

Good luck, Her Associate Professorness!!!

And a m
agnificent week to you all.
